With the advent of technology, we have seen a vigorous transformation in every aspect of life. Undoubtedly, education is not an exception here. In some ways, the learning method seems very much the same as earlier, but virtual learning or e-learning is an add on that has changed the process. Let’s perceive the point in the simple terms-

The classrooms have been equipped with computers where students and teachers are still the same, but the lessons are being taught with the help of computers and their device. Though the teacher yet operates the computers, the chapter’s verbal explanations are being exercised through the practical examples explained by a robot voice built-in the machines.

Modern classrooms are not that much different; there you only find the students learning through laptops and tabs instead of books. Here, a cynic would say that technology has done nothing to change education. However, education has been profoundly affected with knowledge, and here we have listed some of the main benefits of technology in education.

  • Improves engagement-When the education is integrated with technology, then students are likely to show their interest more in the subjects during lectures through the computer. It even provides different opportunities to make learning more engaging and enjoyable in terms of teaching.
  • Enhances knowledge retention- With an increased interest of students in study, the knowledge retention also improve. They grasp the points effectively and efficiently. It encourages their participation in the classroom, and it’s an essential factor for high knowledge retention.

The above two points are the potent examples proving that technology has improved the education quality and opened the opportunities for the deprived and vulnerable sector of the society by making it available at their fingertips.

Many IT companies in India is working on this part and helping the education sectors by developing their education portals and applications.

Good Luck!
